Richard Brittain tracked down a 16-year-old girl who didn’t like his book and said so and hit her over the head with a bottle.
Yes, Justin Bieber’s dad tweeted compliments about his son’s penis after nude paparazzi photos were made public. I’m sorry, listeners, but just Google this one on your own… Once was enough.
Maybe, I didn’t listen closely to hear about this, but I’m surprised there wasn’t a discussion of Outlander in this fandom episode. Some of the behaviors you discuss are ones I’ve seen with Outlander fans trying to ship the actors playing Claire and Jamie.
And on a Beatlemania related note, if you Google Beatles Fanfiction, you will find Beatles sections on places like Tumblr. I guess it goes to show that anything can have an internet component in Fandom.
O, I forgot to tell you, that a friend of mine who was a Beatlemaniac in the 1960’s has told me of Beatle trading cards. I am not a trading card person, but how I wish I had these.
How would Beatle trading cards even work? There’s only 4 of them! Were there multiple cards for each Beatle? “I will trade you one Ringo-in-a-bathtub for two Paul-with-his-shirt-unbuttoned”?
I would assume there would be multiples, but I have never been a trading card collector. I will get back to you on that after I talk to my friend who was around then.

This is what I was able to find on the background of the Beatles Trading Cards. https://www.justcollecting.com/trading-cards/the-beatles-trading-cards
I have no idea. I will ask my friend the next time I talk to him.
