Anglo-Filles Episode 25: Pantsless Research

Welcome to episode 25, in which we kick off our third year with a special guest. Maya joins us to talk about all the things that books, TV, and film get wrong. She brings with her some scientific perspective, to round out our already fairly comprehensive litany of legal and cultural complaints.

  1. (Gonna leave this here before I even start listening:) This is indeed a very rich and interesting topic to talk about, makes my want to go back and reread/rewatch books and films that actually got a foreign culture (mostly) right, such as Herge’s “The Blue Lotus” [or, Tintin in 1930s Shanghai] and Bernardo Bertolucci’s “The Last Emperor”.

P.S. Any plans of a future episode talking about season 2 of Hannibal?
