(Gonna leave this here before I even start listening:) This is indeed a very rich and interesting topic to talk about, makes my want to go back and reread/rewatch books and films that actually got a foreign culture (mostly) right, such as Herge’s “The Blue Lotus” [or, Tintin in 1930s Shanghai] and Bernardo Bertolucci’s “The Last Emperor”.
P.S. Any plans of a future episode talking about season 2 of Hannibal?
